Kirk became regional manager for Enterprise in 1995, so we moved back to Tallahassee, FL. Kirk’s fast promotions kept us moving and God was blessing us financially. This time we lived there for 3 years. A girl that worked with me in the neurologist office before we left had a baby girl. When we moved back to Tallahassee I began to take care of this precious baby. We treated her like our own. Kirk and I wanted to have children but were not able to conceive at that time. I hated those words that everyone seemed to ask– “when are ya’ll going to have kids?” Kirk and I both grew to love this child and knew that God would give us a child in His time. I could not imagine moving as much as we did with a child, but God knew each move we would make.

Kirk felt the call to some type of ministry but did not know what.  The pastor at Tallahassee Church of God gave Kirk opportunities to speak to the congregation and teach Sunday school classes. He did not know that God was preparing him to be in full-time ministry.

This was a church with mostly elderly people.  My best friend there was a 60 year old lady that I spent almost every day going to see.  She and her husband poured so much into our lives while we lived in Tallahassee both times.  I remember helping her decorate her house for Christmas.  She had a Christmas tree in every room and loved to spread Christmas cheer.  She is one classy lady:)

Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life. Proverbs 4:13

We moved a lot in our LIFE.
