Brad’s 5th Grade Walk
On the last day of school Friday, May 22, 2009 all the 5th graders have a “5TH Grade Walk”. All the students at the elementary and parents line the hallways to congratulate the kids as they walk the elementary hall for the last time. Before I went to the walk I tried to cry and get all the tears out of the way but not one tear came out. I made it just in time to see Bradley make that last walk in Elementary and was doing fine until I saw Bradley hug one of his teachers and felt a wet drop hit my cheek. My little man would soon be in Middle School. How do you prepare yourself? He was just a little baby that needed me to do everything for him and now thinks he can do everything for himself.
