We do have our family traditions around Christmas time. At the beginning of December we get a puzzle that our family can work on when we have time during the day or week. Our goal is to finish by Christmas Day. This year Bradley picked out our puzzle, “Florida Gator” puzzle. The kids agreed for Christmas this year that we would redecorate their rooms. We finished the Florida Gator puzzle, glued it and I framed it to go with his Florida Gator theme of his bedroom.
Another family tradition that Kirk’s family has passed down to our family is to have a non-traditional picnic in the living room. We put a blanket on the floor and make non-traditional foods such as: pizza, chips & dip & pigs in a blanket. Brad & Lauren read the Christmas story after we eat. We love this special time together as a family.
