Lou Ann called and during our conversation she asked “When is God trying to speak to you?” I told her I had been waking up every morning at 2:30 a.m. — singing the song Gina wrote “Be Still and Know that I am God”. She asked, “Do you think that God was trying to give you a scripture?” I told her I didn’t know I just wanted to go back to sleep at that time.
When I got off the phone I got a card in the mail thinking it would have 2:30 (verse 2 chapter 30) on it somewhere (the time I was waking up—2:30). It didn’t. I was sitting on my couch and grabbed my Bible. I love to read Psalms so I turned to Psalm 2:30. Okay, there is not a Psalm 2:30 so I turned to Psalm 30:2 (2:30 backwards) and God spoke to me – “O Lord my God I called to you for help and you healed me.”
