RADIATION
Kirk and I decided that Bradley and Lauren would begin going to the Public Schools in August 2006 and that is when I began my radiation treatments. My radiation was for 6 weeks, everyday, Monday through Friday. Throughout the process, I met a lot of hurting patients.
During my radiation treatments, there were days that I did not have the strength to go one more step. Sometimes I had to bring the kids inside from playing and lie down for 15 to 20 minutes. After a nap, I had more energy. It was extremely tiring but I was able to continue singing in the choir. I love to sing and this was something that I could still do through the entire breast cancer. God was with me through it all!
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. Psalm 28:7
God’s goodness in this LIFE.
