Dr. Paul Walker spoke on “Communion”. It was like he was speaking directly to me. He said, “Someone in here is walking through something right now and God is going to show you exactly how He wants to use you through this crisis.” It was God speaking to me again. We took communion that morning during the service.
Kirk and I watched Perry Stone’s “The Meal That Heals” and had been taking communion everyday together because “By His Strips I am Healed”.
A friend from Mississippi called to encourage me that day. He told me when he was down through his leukemia he would say “Peace be still” and everything would seem to get better. He would also say “By His Stripes I am Healed.” I told him that Kirk and I was taking communion and that is exactly what I say. It seemed that everyday God was confirming that He was going to take care of me.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5
