I will take some time off from my blog. Summer is coming and I will be very busy entertaining my children. We are going to have a blast. We have season passes to Six Flags and White Water. My favorite is White Water.
We are currently busy with Lauren playing softball and Bradley playing flag football. We are at the softball field every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Every Sunday after church we are rushing home to eat and getting Bradley to the football field by 1:45 p.m. and then a 3:00 p.m. game.
In May I will travel with Larry and Gina Bean (my brother and Kirk’s sister) to sing Praise & Worship with them at Perry Stone’s Partners Conference in Pigeon Forge. This will be my third year to join them. Kirk and the kids join us toward the end of the week. I always look forward to this time of the year to minister with Larry and Gina, just like old times.
Bradley and Lauren get out of school May 22nd. June is our vacation time to Hilton Head, South Carolina. I LOVE THE BEACH! We usually go to Hilton Head during spring break but wanted to go during the summer this year. The kids are busy going to camps during June.
Kirk has been very busy with his doctoral degree. He has been working on his dissertation for the last few months. He is waiting to hear from his chair to go on with the next step. His goal is to graduate the end of July 2009 then he will be Dr. Kirk Walters. I am so proud of him for hanging in there and finishing his degree. The kids have been awesome but we will all be glad when he has a little more free time. Way to go Kirk!
August begins to slow down a little………….. I hope? I know sometime during the summer the kids will probably spend time with their grandparents. They love going to their grandparents house without me and Kirk of course.
