During my pregnancies with both my children I had gestational diabetes. After having my BIG babies the doctors said that the diabetes would go away and one day most likely come back. In 2005, I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. This was a very hard adjustment for me to make in my life. I love to eat. When Kirk and I got married I was a very picky eater but now I will eat almost anything, especially sweets. It was a struggle but I knew that I would have to change my way of eating and begin exercising. I prayed that God would one day heal me from this disease.
