When we lived in Mississippi, Kirk and I were on the State Youth Board for the Church of God denomination so Brad and Lauren grew up at the Mississippi camp ground every summer. Since we moved to Atlanta in 2006 the kids always go back to be a part of Mississippi Camp. Brad & Lauren went to Mississippi Camp Monday, June 29th-July 3rd. We met Kirk’s parents in Birmingham, AL for them to pick the kids up on Saturday, June 27th. The kids had fun seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
Kirk and I both attended Mississippi camp when we were kids. We have so many great memories of Mississippi Camp. Both our parents were and still are pastors in Mississippi and we grew up going to Mississippi Youth Camp. It is really neat that our kids are experiencing going to the same camp grounds Kirk and I once did. It is a great way to make wonderful, life-long friends.
