Monday, May 11, 2009 Kirk took me to Dalton, GA so my brother, Larry Bean could pick me up and go with him and Gina to Pigeon Forge for the week. This was my 3rd year to join them to sing Praise & Worship for Perry Stone’s Partner Conference. The conference was Tuesday night through Saturday evening. We sang mornings and evenings so it was late nights, early mornings. It was GREAT!!! I enjoy singing so much and I loved being with Larry & Gina. Kirk and the kids always join us on Thursday but this year because of Brad’s scrimmage game on Saturday they could not come until Saturday evening. We stayed an extra night and Uncle Larry & Aunt G always take Brad & Lauren to play when we are there. So we went to play laser tag, ride go carts, glow in the dark putt-putt, shopping and lots more fun. The Garcia brothers were with us, Jay & Ben and they kept us laughing at all times. Jay played the bass and Ben played the drums and sang some with us. Ty Parker a music pastor from Chattanooga, TN joined us and we had an awesome week.
The kids were still in school so Kirk took care of them while I was away. The only stories I heard was he left our pet bird outside in a thunder storm and our dog outside for a long time because he forgot he took him out to do his business. My thought was as long as he didn’t leave the kids outside we were good.
