November as everyone knows is Thanksgiving. Every day I am thankful but during this time I am very thankful for our time with family. We visit our families and we have a blast when we get together. We love to laugh! We have our family traditions that we do but just the time together is wonderful. One family tradition we do at Kirk’s parents; we gather in a circle and thank God for one thing and pray as a family. Both of our families are very musical so then we sing praise & worship songs. It is such a wonderful time and is what Thanksgiving is really about! Calling on the phone, texting each other, emailing or even video chatting is nice but it is just not the same as being in the same room with each other and sharing old memories and making new ones. Since we are so far from our parents we rotate Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day with our parents, although we get to see both our parents during that holiday. It is a lot of traveling but we always try to be fair on the time we spend at both parents. Our Family Thanksgiving 2009 pictures! You can click on the individual pictures for a closer look!
