I was trying to make this day a normal day for me and the kids. I started homeschooling the kids when we moved to Atlanta. I was trying to help them with their work between crying & blowing my nose. I did get lots of hugs from the kids that morning.
After lunch God gave me the greatest peace. I called Kirk and told him everything was going to be okay. Since that time I have not cried over my situation. God let me know He was walking right beside me.
Larry and Gina (My brother & Kirk’s sister that are married) came to see us they brought a prayer cloth that their choir had anointed and prayed over. Gina (she is a great song writer) wrote a song during their practice about Healing—I listened to this song every day. She shared another song that she wrote “Be Still and Know that I am God”. God was telling me once again to “Be Still” because He was in control.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
