PATHOLOGY REPORT & RECOVERY
Thursday, August 6, 2009
was my appointment to go back for a check-up and receive the pathology report.  My appointment was at 11:40 a.m. Kirk, Brad and Lauren went with me to the doctor’s office.  The kids were catching up on summer reading while Kirk and I went back for pathology report.  Dr. Tag  told us that the pathology report was clear.  The only thing they found was endometriosis which was a common thing.  We were there maybe 15 minutes and then went to O’Charley’s to celebrate.  As we left the office and told the kids that everything was great, Brad told us that God answered his prayer.  We asked what he meant by that. He said last night when I was taking a shower I prayed that God would heal Mom and the test results would come back good and He did it.  I was so touched to know that my children were praying even when I did not ask them to.  We went back home and I was very tired after being out all day.

Recovery
Six weeks of recovery has been very difficult for me because I hate not being able to do things myself.  Kirk planned to work from home the first week so he could take care of me.  Once again he was right there with me every step of the way.  He cooked, cleaned and got the kids to where they needed to be and continued his full-time job.  The kids came home from Larry and Gina’s house on a Wednesday after my surgery on Friday.  Brad’s fall football practice began that week and Kirk was getting him to practice from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. every evening.  The next week the kids began school and we were trying to adjust to a new schedule, getting Brad to football practice, Kirk back to work and I was still recovering from surgery.  It was very frustrating because I felt that I was getting strength back and try to do a few things and totally be exhausted.  I have a week left to recovery and I will be so glad.  I am so thankful for my wonderful husband that takes great care of me and still continued his full-time job and my awesome kids that prayed for me when I was not feeling well.  They would ask each day how I felt and if I didn’t feel well I would ask them to say a prayer for me and they would say the sweetest, sincere prayers.  Thank you God for my wonderful family!!!

Matthew 17:20
He replied, “Because you have so little faith.
I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed,
you can say to this mountain,
‘Move from here to there’ and it will move.
Nothing will be impossible for you.”

If you are new to my blog please go back to the beginning to understand each day of my blog.  It begins when Kirk and I were married and tells each move and how God used us and was always preparing us for the next phase of LIFE!  May God Bless You in Your walk in this LIFE!!!!!
